How It Works
PAMCO VR1010 & 1040 -- Object Virtual Reality Turntable and Controller Software.
The "PAMCO VR1010 & 1040" are PC motion controlled turntables with a software package. The supplied software controls both the turntable and a camera for fully automatic image capture. Images are then processed in any VR encoding or VR authoring program. A list of VR encoding & VR authoring software companies are found here :

Basically Object VR is simple animation. A series of pictures playing back much like a video.
At PAMCO-IMAGING we specialize in the design and manufacture of the turntable and camera control part of this process. Other venders provide software to piece together the images into the appropriate file type. Most Object VR examples currently output as either a "Flash" file or a "Java" file.
3 steps to animate product shots.
1
The VR1010 & 1040 turntable automatically rotates an object any number of degrees, then stops and the software triggers the camera to take an image. Then the turntable moves on to the next position. Any number of degrees and almost any number of shots can be automatically performed. Example: 360degrees and 36shots or 180degrees & 36shots.

The turntable top size may be increased with an optional foam-core disk. Detailed instructions on how to take successful Object VR images are included with the VR1010 & 1040.
2
The program automatically names, series numbers and saves images to a pre selected folder on a computer.

3
Images are now numbered with product or object name and are ready for encoding in any authoring program or service provider.
